Welcome to The Little Acorns class page!
Mrs Booth is our teacher on Mondays, Tuesdays and every other Wednesday morning. Mrs Willis is our teacher on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Miss Allen and Mrs Tapu are our teaching assistants.
Here you can find lots of information about the Little Acorns, as well as keeping up to date with all of the exciting things that we get up to throughout the school year.

Our Routines
Tuesdays – PE session – the children will need to come in wearing their PE kits and with earrings removed.
Fridays – ‘Forest Friday’ – the children will be visiting Eco-Land and will need to come to school wearing jogging bottoms, a waterproof coat, sun hat/Winter hat and wellies.
Our Learning
Our classroom bears, Kai and Tilly, will deliver us a new book either weekly or fortnightly and the majority of our learning will revolve around it.
This term our topic is called ‘One small step’. In this topic we will be learning about different types of materials and their properties and identifying suitable clothes for different purposes. We will also be finding out about space travel and how it has changed throughout history.
We have a weekly RE lesson as well as a class Celebration of the Word on a Monday where we introduce the word of the week, share a story from the Bible and join together in saying special prayers to God.
