Sport at Holy Trinity

Participation in Sporting opportunities is highly valued at Holy Trinity and we encourage the children to be as physically active as possible throughout the school day.

We employ a Sports Coach who delivers high quality PE lessons within the school alongside teacher delivery of PE.  This enables the children to take part in a wider range of sporting opportunities.

Throughout the school year, the children will have the chance to take part in internal House Competitions culminating at the end of the year with highly coverted Sporting Trophies for Sports Day, Football, Netball and Rounders.

Children also have the opportunity to take part in tournaments within the locality – football both for boys and girls, netball and athletics.  Children also have the chance to visit Trent Bridge Cricket Ground for festivals and we have Tennis coaches and Rugby coaches who visit the school.

We value active lunchtimes at Holy Trinity and employ a lunchtime Sports Coach who provides training for our teams and various activities to keep the children active.

We also train our Y6 ambassadors as Play Leaders who lead lunchtime activities for our younger children.
