Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information
“In every child there is a space that only God can fill.”
Welcome to our SEND pages. We hope you will enjoy reading about the variety of ways in which Holy Trinity is able to support SEND pupils to reach their full potential.
‘He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” Mark 9:36-37
Our Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-ordinator (SENCo) is Mrs Sheila Boneham-Hill, and our Governor with responsibility for SEND is Robert Beall.
At Holy Trinity we welcome everybody into our community. We believe that our community should reflect God’s wish that every child is welcomed and should be provided with the opportunity to achieve his or her full potential.
Every student at the Holy Trinity has the opportunity to follow the National Curriculum. We are committed to narrowing the attainment gap between SEND and non-SEND students.
If your child has additional needs or a disability and you would like to know more about what we offer at Holy Trinity please contact us.
Information about how we meet the needs of our pupils with SEND and the local offer can be found in the following policies and documents. Included are the arrangements that the school has made to ensure that all pupils, adults and visitors have equal access to the school including those pupils with Special Educational Needs via the Accessibility Plan:
