Computing Curriculum Intent

Through high quality teaching in Computing it is our intention that all children will:

In Digital Literacy:

 be responsible users of digital devices inside and outside of school.

 make connections with their learning and apply it to their everyday use of technology. (Online safety)

 be able to retain and recall specific knowledge throughout the year.

In ICT:

  become confident users of technology.

  develop links between curriculum subjects, such as Maths and Science, to create and produce data which can be analysed, evaluated and presented.

Computer Science:

  develop enquiring minds through practical investigations through the use of coding.

  be confident in explaining the debugging process (KS2), when solving errors within coding
