Music Curriculum Intent
Through the high quality teaching of the Music curriculum, is is our intention that all children will:
Through Listening:
• be excited by the power of music to enrich their lives.
• experience the widest possible range of listening and music making experiences.
• feel the presence of God through the spiritual music which is used in our school acts of worship.
Through composition and performance:
• be confident, knowledgeable and discerning in their use of sounds, enabling them to enjoy creating and performing a wide variety of their own musical compositions.
